The Glo HSI Portal App

The steps below describe how to download and install the Glo HSI Portal App on your devices.

Follow the steps below:

Prepare your phone to receive and install the App.

1. Press the [Menu] button.
2. Press [Settings] and select [Applications].
3. Tick and select UNKNWON SOURCES “allow installation of non-market applications”
(you will need to uncheck this later after installing the Glo HSI Portal App.

Receive the App via Bluetooth:

Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device
1. Press the [Menu] button.
2. Press [Settings] and select [Bluetooth Settings].
3. Select [Bluetooth “turn on Bluetooth”.
4. Tick and select [Discoverable] “make device discoverable”

On your sending device

1. Go to your laptop or device where the Glo HSI Portal App is present.
2. Select the app and click on send or share via Bluetooth.
3. Enable pairing (as necessary) on both devices
4. Pair the devices as necessary

On your mobile device

1. Select the downloaded file from the prompt on top of the screen
2. Click the downloaded file to install it.
3. Accept all the permissions.
4. After installation, press [Menu] and select [All Apps]
5. Scroll to/search for HSI Portal
6. Press and hold the icon to drop it on your home screen.
7. Click the app to launch.

Receive the App via Email

(only if you have an email account configured on your mobile device):

On your sending device

1. Go to your laptop or device where the Glo HSI Portal App is present.
2. Select the HSI App as an attachment in an email.
3. Send the email to the address configured on the receiving device

On your mobile device

1. When the mail received on your device, click on the attachment (which is the HSI Portal App) and select install.
2. Click the downloaded file to install it.
3. Accept all the permissions.
4. After installation, press [Menu] and select [All Apps]
5. Scroll to/search for HSI Portal
6. Press and hold the icon to drop it on your home screen.
7. Click the app to launch.
