News on Top QPR manager Harry Redknapp has said French striker Loic Remy faces a spell on the sidelines with a groin injury.
Remy,
who joined the R's for £8m from Marseille last month,
was hurt in training on Friday.
Redknapp initially said the injury was a tear but after Saturday's 0-0 draw against Norwich at Loftus Road, it is now thought it is only a strain.
"I have no idea how long he will be out. We will have to see how he is on Sunday and Monday," Redknapp said.
“Chris Samba was fantastic. If that's 40%, I don't know what he'll be like when he's 100%. He was outstanding”Harry Redknapp
Meanwhile Redknapp was full of praise for new signings Christopher Samba and Andros Townsend, as well as Adel Taarabt - despite the Moroccan's missed penalty.
"Chris Samba was fantastic," Redknapp said. "He's not played since November. We asked him how he was and he said he was about 40% fit. If that's 40%, I don't know what he'll be like when he's 100%. He was outstanding.
"Andros Townsend had an outstanding game. He was absolutely brilliant. He's a young player with a big future.
"Adel was outstanding again. It's just one of those things. If we score, then we win the game, there's no doubt.
"Bobby Zamora came on in the second half because we can't get a full game from him at the moment after his hip operation, otherwise he'd start. At the moment, it's so difficult because if he plays from the start it seizes up on him during half-time.
"Of course we need wins, but we could not have tried any harder - we gave everything we had."
