News on Top Ideye is the forward focal point, Mikel playmaking from deep and the five things we learnt from the 4-1 bashing of Mal.
The national team coach has revealed that though he wants his players to be upstanding on and off the pitch, he also wants them to enjoy their tasks
Nigeria’s coach, Stephen Keshi is set to become the second man to go into the history books of African football by winning the Nations Cup as a player and a coach as he leads his team in the final against Burkina Faso on Sunday. He was also the last man that lifted the trophy for Nigeria in 1994, when he was captain of the Super
Eagles and he has revealed that he is trying to teach the present set to be disciplined and to have fun playing the game for their country.
"We need discipline on and off the field. And we also have to have fun,” Keshi told fifa.com.
“Any job you do, if don't have fun doing it, you won't give a hundred per cent. That was the way I played when I was a player and that is what I want to see as a coach.
“Fun and also discipline, that's the key," he added.
The coach will have more fun on Sunday if his team, which was roundly doubted at the start of the competition, prevails over Burkina Faso.
